While Gina Glocksen was shocked when she was voted off ‘American Idol’ on Wednesday, the 22-year-old isn’t conjuring up any Chris Sligh stories to ease the disappointment.
Glocksen revealed in an interview “I wasn’t expecting it at all” but she seems to be taking it in stride. Perhaps Glocksen heard about Sligh’s comments after getting kicked off the show last week. In an apparent attempt to hide his displeasure the mop headed misfit told media outlets that he had been thinking about quitting ‘Idol’ anyway.
Rather than hide behind a story Glocksen opted to address the disappointment with a simple line "I honestly thought I wasn't going to go home." That being said, she seems ready to move on with her music career despite the early exit.
While Glocksen will take part in the ‘American Idol’ summer tour, she has already laid plans for a Los Angeles move and putting together a band.
Since being cast off of the ‘American Idol’ stage Glocksen has kept the Sanjaya Malakar subject mum. Showing a lot of character, Glocksen has refused to bad-mouth the 17-year-old that continually survives the vote. She has instead remarked that the two are friends and she admires his self-confidence.
