Brazil-US Custody Case Latest Ruling Says Boy Stays in Brazil For Now

Finance World News Update by EQUITIES Magazine

Brazil’s Supreme Court has agreed with a petition by 9-year-old Sean Goldman’s Brazilian family that he remain in Brazil until the court decides whether the boy’s own testimony should be heard in the case.

The ruling suspends an earlier ruling by a lower court ordering that his father, David Goldman, be given custody.

Due to the fact that the Court goes into recess tomorrow, a ruling on the boy’s testimony will not likely be given before February. Until then, Sean will remain in Brazil.
