UTStarcom, Inc. (NASDAQ: UTSI) has appointed Kenneth Luk as Senior VP and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Luk will assume the position immediately. His business career has lasted for over 30 years, including several senior level financial and executive positions at various companies. Prior to joining UTStarcom he served as CFO for China Sunergy Company Ltd. from December 2007 to March 2009. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a BA in Economics. He also obtained an MBA from York University, Ontario.
