Bank of America Appoints Brian T. Moynihan as Chief Executive

The Bank of America has appointed Brian T. Moynihan as Chief Executive Officer and President. Mr. Moynihan will assume the position and join the Board of Directors upon the retirement of Kenneth D. Lewis on December 31, 2009. Lewis, who has served as the CEO since 2001, recently announced his retirement from the company after a 40 year career.
