Reseda Florist Encourages Customers to Enjoy Family Events During Christmas
Allen’s Flower Market Reseda, a Reseda, California-based, family-owned and operated flower shop, reminds customers that this is the time of year to start a family tradition like taking a trip up to Fillmore and experiencing the Christmas Tree Train Ride. About an hour north of Reseda is the historic town of Fillmore, which offers a fun experience for the whole family this holiday season.
The Christmas Tree Holiday Train runs Saturdays and Sundays from November 30th through December 22nd. Train riders can enjoy riding the train to a nearby Christmas Tree Farm to pick out their Christmas tree. Guests can also enjoy the train ride to visit with Santa and a shop at nearby Loose Caboose Garden Center and Gift Emporium where they have a variety of antiques and gifts. The Christmas Tree Holiday Train departs at 10am and 2pm.
Other holiday event train options include the Santa Shopper Train, which departs on Saturdays and Sundays at 12pm. There are also rides on the North Pole Express on Wednesday and Sunday nights from November 30th through December 26th. This ride on a vintage train with Santa and his elves includes stories, cookies, and milk. Kids are encouraged to come in their pajamas with their favorite stuffed animal. The last great family tradition offered by the Fillmore & Western Railway Company is Dinner with Santa, which is on Friday, December 13 and Friday, December 20th at 5:30pm. It includes a full holiday dinner hosted by Santa Claus.
