Blackberry-maker Research In Motion Ltd. said strong sales boosted the better-than-anticipated earnings and forecasts.
Chief Executive Jim Balsillie reported the fiscal third quarter was the “strongest quarter ever for growth outside of North America," with 37% of revenue and 35% of RIM's subscriber base now coming from those markets.
Shares soared 12% to $71.01 in after-hours trading on the news.
