Iranian Troops Cross Iraqi Border, Seize Oil Well

Iranian troops have reportedly crossed into Iraqi territory and seized an oil well that is positioned on a disputed border section.

An Iranian flag was raised and at least eleven soldiers have dug-in at the Fakkah oil field in southern Iraq. Initially Iranian officials denied the incursion but have since confirmed that their soldiers were now in control of the well.

There has been no military response from Iraqi soldiers.
