Every day it looks much grander and much more enthralling. Since 1946 the great casinos have been entertaining its guests who come from around the globe to try their luck. The architectures of the casino houses are also something that attracts the attention of the visitors. The buildings around the famous Las Vegas strip that are developed imitating the styles of the pyramid of Egypt, Statue of Liberty, or the Eiffel Tower are simply awe inspiring. It creates a surrealistic ambience around that is unbelievingly beautiful.
Now a destination that can throw up a challenge to Las Vegas is Macao in Asia. Here also, the casino buildings have come up that can keep the visitors amazed for hours. The building has been developed in the style of the Water Cube of Beijing that was created during the 2008 Olympic Games.
It is the 34th casino in Macao. And the entire 32,000 m² of space has been solely dedicated to over 550 slot machines 260 gambling tables arranged in three layers. SJM Holdings Ltd., the developer of the casino spent over $190 million to build this property and it took roughly one year. It has no restaurants or hotel rooms.
Another advantage of Oceanus is its strategic location. It is just minutes away from the city’s port and with one-hour ride from Hong Kong you can reach your dream destination. The famous casino architect Paul Steelman conceptualized the building on the Water Cube of Beijing, though it has not been acknowledged officially. But you cannot simply overlook the resemblance. So, gamers! Be prepared for some never-before gambling experience in Oceanus.
