King of Cornhole ACO US Nationals Sets January 2010 Date

ACO US Nationals King of Cornhole to be decided in Las Vegas January 30.

For the third year in a row the ACO, American Cornhole Organization, will stage the King of Cornhole in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 2009 King of Cornhole will be determined during the ACO US Nationals Festival at The Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, on the weekend of January 28, 29, and 30, 2010.

 

For the last twelve months men and women have competed for a top forty spot in the ACO CornyForty. A Top Forty spot qualifies them for an automatic seed in the King of Cornhole tournament to be held January 30. Without an automatic seed, players must compete January 29 in a qualifier tournament for a shot at the final 24 spots in the 64 person 2009 King of Cornhole Tournament.

 

The ACO US Nationals is much more than the King of Cornhole event. It is a festival of events for Social cornhole players and for Competitive players. The festival is a three day event of tournaments and skill challenges bringing out the best in cornhole players in a family friendly social atmosphere..

 

Starting on Thursday January 28 the ACO festival includes a Luck of the Draw tournament, followed by a Board Challenge, an Airmail Challenge, and finishing up with a Consecutive Toss Challenge. Friday is cornhole excitement with Social Singles and Doubles tournaments and Competitive Singles and Doubles tournaments.

 

Saturday continues where Friday left off, with just a bit more excitement. Starting with a Sudden Death Luck of the Draw feature tournament for Socials. The much anticipated final journey to the King of Cornhole crown will be the feature tournament for the Competive players.
