Commerce Casino announces schedule for 2010 LA Classic Poker

The schedule for 2010 LA Poker Classic is now available.

The schedule for 2010 LA Poker Classic is now available. Commerce Casino, which is said to be the World’s largest casino announced the calendar of the tournament which will start on January 20, 2010 with NO LIMIT HOLD'EMƒ. This first match will be a two-day event.

The estimated prize money will be in the range of $20 million and will have 51 events running almost two months. There will be many matches during the month of January and February and the concluding match will be on 4th March with No-Limit Hold' em Championship. The prize money for this will be $10,000.  

In 2010 series the LA Poker Classic will also feature World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational matches. This will begin on 20th February and the final will be held on 3rd March.

This year the satellite matches will begin from January 15 and the last will be on February 28. These satellites, supersatellite or megasatellite matches are just perfect for the poker players that will put in smaller sum and may not be able to invest big amounts in LA Classic Poker series matches.

LAPC or LA Classic Poker matches will be televised and it is expected that almost 600 players will be participating in the final leg. The buy in will be $10,000 and prize pool will be over $6 million.

The first LAPC NO LIMIT HOLD'EMƒ will have a fixed buy-in of $335. In the later stages the buy-in will be $545, $1065, $1585, $10,000, etc., for different matches. The 51st match that will be Commerce High Roller will have a buy-in of $25,100. The tournament will have Pot Limit Omaha High, No Limit Hold ‘Em, Omaha Hi/Low Split, 7-Card Stud, and Stud Hi/Low Splittournaments.

Commerce Casino organized a similar kind of event in last September that was attended by 3,967 players. The prize pool was $753.730.

LAPC 2010 will feature other games like Chinese poker, badugi, and an eight-segment event $2,100 Iron Man that will start on 21 February 2010.
