As Health Bill Clears Senate, Parties Remain Divided

This morning the Senate voted 60 to 39 on three steps leading up to a final vote on health care legislation later this week.

 

Democrats remain in favor, Republicans remain opposed.

 

While Democrats are saying Republicans were creating unneeded procedural delays, Republicans say Democrats rushed the process. The only topic both parties agreed upon was that the opposing party would be on the wrong side of history.
