Textron Inc announced today that it received a $10 million contract to build 27 armored vehicles for the U.S. Army.
The vehicles, Armored Knight units, will be delivered to the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command by the end of 2010. The work will be done by Textron Marine & Land Systems business.
Texron stock was up 11 cents, or 0.57 percent, to $19.38.
