The Cleveland Browns have announced they will play their final two games of the year without starting quarterback Brady Quinn who suffered a foot injury in the team’s 41-34 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Quinn was placed on injured reserve, ending a season for the Notre Dame product that saw him post a 2-7 mark as a starter. In that second win Quinn hurt his foot on a bootleg run and while the injury has not been specified coach Eric Mangini did say it could “take a little while” for it to heal.
In place of Quinn the Browns will insert Derek Anderson when they face the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
