QualityStocks would like to highlight
Mabwe Minerals Inc. (
OTCQB: MBMI), a U.S. based natural resources and hard asset company focused on the mining, logistics, and commercial sales of industrial minerals and metals, with a particular emphasis on barite. The company's operations are conducted through its Zimbabwe affiliate, Mabwe Mineral Zimbabwe (Private) Ltd. Transitioning into commercial production, MBMI's company fundamentals are well positioned with virtually no debt and key strategic partnerships in place.
In the company’s news,
Mabwe Minerals announced that its Zimbabwe affiliate, Mabwe Minerals Zimbabwe (Private) Ltd., had acquired mineral and metal rights to an additional 110 acres (272 acres) of property at the Dodge Mine in Zimbabwe. As a result, the mining property has been extended to 220 hectares (576 acres) of land.
With the expansion, the Dodge Mine now extends to three mountains and a portion of a fourth moving east to west. Previous gravity mapping efforts on Mabwe Minerals’ behalf in 2012 had detected the presence of barite in the largest mountain in this group of mountains on the group’s western end. Recently, trench maps across the third mountain demonstrated the presence of barite in two parallel lenses as well, thereby confirming the test results of the graving mapping efforts.
Tapiwa Gurupira, Director of Mabwe Minerals, stated, “During the gravity mapping project last year, the owner of MWH Geo-Surveys kept pointing west with vocal excitement and encouraged us to extend the property. We are thankful that the gravity mapping project extended into this additional 110 hectares verifying what we had hoped, data confirming the continued directional flow of multiple barite lenses.”
“With a number of third party geologists having now visited Dodge Mine, it is certain that we will continue to move west,” added Tapiwa.
Mabwe Minerals is planning to finish the gravity mapping testing with drilling operations that will confirm the prior test results in volume estimates. With the Dodge Mine extension certificate having been issued by the Office of Mining Commissioners in place, WGB Kinsey & Company, Mabwe Minerals’ Zimbabwe-based mining and construction company, will proceed with the drilling plan for gravity mapping finalization.
Updates regarding the extension, including gravity and aerial maps, on-site photographs, and the registered certificate of the property extension, can be found in Mabwe Minerals’ latest newsletter, available at: http://dtg.fm/mbmi-message-1-14.
