IBM Corp. (NYSE: IBM) announced Monday that the company will add 500 customer-service employees at its campus in Boulder, CO, according to Associated Press.
Boulder officials say the workers will be hired locally and trained by IBM, which is expanding customer-service related jobs. The company is supported with $35,000 in sales and will use tax rebates from Boulder.

IBM would receive the money as part of the city's flexible rebate program, according to City Manager Jane Brautigam on Monday. Companies qualify for the rebates by meeting social, community and environmental sustainability guidelines.
IBM also is receiving training funds from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade.
The city says IBM has about 2,800 employees at its Boulder campus.
