Ondrejech to Start Law Firm to Serve Northeast Ohio

Mark S. Ondrejech, who spent the past six years as Frank Groh-Wargo’s associate at Berea business and real estate boutique Frank J. Groh-Wargo Co., LPA, has struck out on his own and opened The Ondrejech Law Firm, LLC.  The Ondrejech Law Firm, LLC is a solo venture for Ondrejech, where he will focus his practice in general civil litigation, business, real estate, and criminal law.  He will occasionally accept matters that do not fit those descriptions.  Ondrejech currently works out of his home in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland, but colleagues have agreed to allow him to use their office conference rooms in Berea, West Park, and North Ridgeville to meet clients and conduct depositions.  As a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Ondrejech can also hold appointments in its offices downtown in the Galleria, subject to appointment.

Ondrejech is experienced.  At Groh-Wargo Co., he had primary responsibility for litigation matters from the beginning of his career in 2008.  Some highlights include convincing the United States District Court to reverse a disability plan’s decision that denied his client long-term disability benefits. The court ordered the plan to pay Ondrejech’s attorney fees. In defense of a corporate client against a class action, Ondrejech convinced the Supreme Court of Ohio to accept jurisdiction over the appellate court’s decision to certify a class, and leveraged the resolution of a case that had been in litigation for almost ten years.  In a municipal law case, Ondrejech helped a church obtain zoning variances to build a new sanctuary and multi-purpose facility over the objection of a neighborhood opposition group.  The group had appealed the city’s decision to grant the variances to the common pleas and appellate courts, but the courts affirmed the variances.  Ondrejech has handled administrative cases, and criminal cases, and has contract drafting and negotiation experience.  He has appeared before administrative agencies. He has represented criminal clients in impaired driving cases, drug possession, public indecency, assault, and various other matters.  He has drafted business agreements as well as real estate contracts and closing documents.  Ondrejech bills hourly, but will consider offering alternative payment plans on a case-by-case basis.  Ondrejech can be reached at 330-441-2027.  The firm’s website is http://www.o-lawfirm.com.  You can follow the firm on twitter at O_Law_Firm.
