American Greetings Corp. announced today that it returned a profit in the third quarter.
In last year’s comparable was weighted down by a hefty impairment charge, creating losses of $193.3 million, or $4.25 per share. This year’s third quarter brought in earnings of $29.7 million, or 75 cents per share.
