Bernie Madoff Moved to Medical Center within N.C. Prison

Bernie Madoff has been moved to the medical center within his North Carolina prison but there has been no word on what led officials to move the disgraced financier.

According to reports Madoff, 71, was moved from his cell at the Butner Federal Correctional Complex to the medical center on December 18.

Madoff was sentenced to 150 years after pleading guilty to operating a ponzi scheme that bilked investors out of $65 billion.
