Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora Officially Divorced

The eleven year marriage of Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora was officially ended on Wednesday, just over a year after proceeding began.

Locklear, a six-time Golden Globe nominee, has cited irreconcilable differences as reason for the split.

Sambora, 47, is seeking joint custody of their nine-year-old daughter, Ava.

The 45-year-old “Melrose Place” alum married the Bon Jovi guitarist in December, 1995. Locklear had been married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee from 1986-1993.
