Shia LaBeouf is a busy young actor. Starring in the new movie “Disturbia,” wrapping up the animated flick “Surf’s Up,” and taking on a role in the upcoming “Transformers” movie doesn’t seem to be enough for the 20-year-old thespian. Now LaBeouf will join Harrison Ford in the fourth installment of the “Indiana Jones” series set to begin filming in June.
Producer George Lucas let it slip that LaBeouf would be included in the film while appearing on a morning talk show. After the gaffe director Steven Spielberg confirmed the news yet wouldn’t give any details about the role the Daytime Emmy Award winner would play.
LaBeouf has already chalked up a few impressive films to his credit. He appeared in the critically acclaimed film “Bobby” and in the 2006 film “A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints.”
The untitled Indiana Jones movie is scheduled for release May 22, 2008.
