An American tourist on vacation in Thailand was brutally beaten, stabbed in the eye and robbed by staff of Cascades Bar at Nana Entertainment Plaza in Bangkok.
He survived the attack just to find out that the local police rarely investigate reports of crime against tourists and that Americans should be aware regarding inability of the local police to protect them prior to contemplating any travel to Thailand.
