An appearance by Tim Cox, founder of GET OUT OF OUR HOUSE, on Sunday morning’s Fox & Friends, sent 80,000 viewers to his website, www.GOOOH.com, with over 11,000 joining the non-partisan movement. Cox explained the GET OUT OF OUR HOUSE group's goal to replace all 435 members of the House of Representatives by empowering voters to choose their own candidates.
The soft spoken Texan’s message was clear. Americans have a right to expect their elected leaders to represent them, and listen to their concerns about unprecedented spending and an insurmountable national debt. GOOOH’s message reverberates strongly with Tea Party, 9-12 and We Surround You groups, who flooded Washington in September, but is directed to all Americans. GOOOH (pronounced GO) is a national party with a simple platform: Americans have a right to choose representatives free of special interest influences, limited to two terms in office.
On Monday, radio talk show host Neal Boortz, libertarian and co-author of The Fair Tax Book, announced that he had become a GOOOH member at the urging of his listeners. He wrote, “Our Republic can no longer survive the inattention of voters who think that 434 of the rascals ought to be replaced, but that their very own particular congressman is doing just fine, thank you very much.”
Tim Cox continues to travel the country, doing TV, radio and print interviews and explaining how Get Out Of Our House will empower citizen groups like Tea Party to join with other Americans who feel poorly represented.
