Triad Guaranty Inc. is a holding company. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Triad Guaranty Insurance Corporation (Triad), the Company provided private mortgage insurance coverage in the United States. Triad ceased issuing new commitments for mortgage guaranty insurance coverage on July 15, 2008, and is operating the business in run-off. Triad no longer writes new mortgage insurance policies but continues to service the existing policies.
