Pfizer Inc (NYSE:PFE) Spends $5.4 Million in Lobbying Government

Pfizer, Inc. (NYSE:PFE) has spent $5.4 million during the third quarter on lobbying the government on topics such as the health care overhaul, government spending on medication, and patent and trade issues.  Among many things, the company lobbied on numerous legislations related to the federal health care overhaul.  The bills could lead to a greater use of the company’s products, such as the reauthorization of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program.
