Virginia Tech Shooting Leaves One Dead, One Wounded
A shooting on the campus of Virginia Tech has left one person dead and one person wounded on Monday.
The shooting broke out in West Ambler Johnston Hall, a co-ed dormitory that houses nearly 900 students. Police swarmed the campus and instructed students walking to class to evacuate the area.
With a gunman on the loose, Virginia Tech immediately canceled classes and asked all students to lock their doors and stay away from windows.
Police have just arrested a man they believe to be the shooter. No information about the victims has been made available at this time.
