Wakefield Law Office continues its steady growth with the addition of two new attorneys to its legal team. Kendra Bowers joins the firm as an associate, and Robert Saunders comes aboard in an of counsel role. Together, they bring a diverse and complimentary range of professional experience to the growing law firm. From complex commercial real estate and litigation in a large regional firm, to new business formation, general civil representation and criminal and DUI defense as a solo practitioner, Ms. Bowers and Mr. Saunders are potent new additions to the team.
Kendra Bowers began her legal career as a summer associate at Broad & Cassel, a prestigious regional law firm with nine offices throughout Florida. She was hired as an associate upon graduation from law school in 2006, joining the commercial real estate group in the firm's Boca Raton office. There, Kendra focused primarily on real estate transactions and commercial lending, but also gained experience in civil litigation. Kendra re-located to Park City in 2012 with her husband to raise their family in the mountains of Utah. Returning to law after time off to start a family, Kendra is expanding her practice to include representation of real estate and business professionals, homeowners associations, and other clients in a broad range of transactional and litigation matters. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in Entrepreneurship and Small Business from Florida State University. She earned her Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated in the top ten percent of her law class. She is admitted to practice in both Utah and Florida.
Robert Saunders is an attorney and life long resident of Park City, Utah. His solo practice has covered a variety of fields, including new business formation and advice, contract law, landlord/tenant matters, and criminal and DUI defense, among others. He continues the Wakefield Law Office tradition of bringing hands-on entrepreneurial experience to clients, having served as CEO of Black Box, where he oversaw day-to-day operations, publicity, advertising and client relations. Robert's discipline and work ethic have produced success not in the academic and professional arenas, but also in his athletic pursuits in alpine ski racing. In college, he earned recognition as a two time NCAA Academic All-American. In elite level amateur athletics, he represented the United States as a member of the US Ski Team. Robert received his Bachelor's degree cum laude in English from Colby College in Maine. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maine School of Law in 2010. He is a member of the Utah State Bar admitted to practice in all state courts as well as the United States Bankruptcy Court.
