Karl Rove and Wife Darby Rove Divorce

Karl Rove, former senior adviser and deputy chief of staff for President George W Bush, was granted a divorce from his wife of 24 years, Darby Rove, last week. Rove family spokeswoman Dana Perino announced the divorce this week.

“Karl Rove and his wife, Darby, were granted a divorce last week. The couple came to the decision mutually and amicably, and they maintain a close relationship and a strong friendship. There will be no further comment, and the family requests that its privacy be respected,” Perino told Politico.

Meanwhile, Rove’s memoir Courage and Consequence is set to hit stores in March 2010.
