Walgreens (NYSE: WAG) is currently offering H1N1 vaccinations at all of its Massachusetts pharmacies. Walgreens is working together with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in order to serve as a distribution partner for the H1N1 vaccine and a community resource for H1N1 immunization information. The Vaccinations are available on a walk in basis when an immunizing pharmacist is on staff, by appointment and also during scheduled flu shot clinics at select Walgreens locations. The H1N1 vaccine is priced at $18. The vaccinations are covered by Medicare and may be covered by other insurance plans.
