A 13 percent jump from January 2006 and a 29 percent increase from December 2006. Atlanta metropolitan area 28-county ranked third-highest metro foreclosure rate for January 2007. Reporting one new foreclosure filing for every 214 households and 6,791 new foreclosure filings in January with a 25 percent increase from December.”
