Attorney John Morgan has been named one of “The 25 Most Powerful People in Central Florida” by a panel of community leaders, according to an Orlando Sentinel article. Mr. Morgan has a strong presence in his community through the work of his law firm, Morgan & Morgan, and his political ties with members of both the Democratic and Republican parties.
Mr. Morgan founded the law firm Morgan & Morgan in 1988 and has dedicated his career to representing the people, not the powerful. Today, the firm has grown to include eleven office locations in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Guided by the motto “for the people,” Morgan & Morgan represents the injured in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, and defective products. Mr. Morgan also has significant political connections and has entertained many influential politicians, including President Barack Obama and Florida Governor Charlie Crist, at his home.
In order to compile the list of “The 25 Most Powerful People in Central Florida,” Orlando Sentinel columnist Scott Maxwell assembled a panel of 14 individuals who hold positions in business, nonprofit, political, education, government, and grass roots organizations in Central Florida. These panelists voted on the individuals they believe have done the best job of effecting change in the community.
