Suspicious Van in Times Square Causes Delays, Nasdaq Building Evacuated

After police investigated a suspicious van, Times Square in New York City has been reopened to traffic. The bomb squad found no explosives in the van.

 

Seen around 11 this morning, patrol officers alerted counterterrorism and bomb squad crews to the van. The area was secured and two high-rise buildings, one which houses Nasdaq and Conde Nast, were partially evacuated. Nasdaq said trading was unaffected.
