“Smarter Social Media, on their Annual List of Smartest People in Social Media”

Smarter Social Media Co-Founder Bryce Maddock came up with good ideas for how to measure social media influence.

Bryce Maddock, co-founder of Smarter Social Media – the leading provider of social media marketing services online today, talks about the enormous amount of feedback the company received on this year’s list of 100 Smartest People in Social Media. According to Maddock, some people gave two thumbs up while others questioned their methods of compiling the list.

Maddock reached out to some of those in the list and got lots of great ideas for improving next year’s edition. Through a long conversation with Brendan Cooper – a London based social media consultant - Maddock was able to come up with some good ideas for how to measure the influence of social media experts. 

Smarter Social Media is in the process of developing the “Smarter Social Media Influence Index”. This will be done through gathering information around the web to be able to rank the influence of these so-called social media gurus. Smarter Social Media would definitely like to hear your thoughts and/or suggestions.
