Shooting in Finland Leaves Six Dead

A Finnish man entered a grocery store inside a shopping center and opened fire, killing three men and a woman before leaving and eventually shooting himself. A body of a second woman, believed to be the ex-girlfriend of the gunman, was later discovered in a flat.

According to police Ibrahim Shkupolli, 43, entered Prisma grocery store at the Sello shopping center in the southern city of Espoo with a 9mm pistol and began shooting randomly.

It is believed Shkupolli had been targeting his ex-girlfriend, an employee of Prisma, but she was not at the store at the time of the shooting. Police have said the woman had a restraining order against Shkupolli put in place after the two ended their relationship.

A massive manhunt for Shkupolli was launched following the shooting at the shopping center but his lifeless body was later discovered at his flat.
