Janitors responsible for cleaning Delta (NYSE: DAL) and United (NASDAQ: UAUA) planes at Boston's Logan International Airport have gone on strike Wednesday in a contract dispute, according to Associated Press.
The group consisting of more than 100 Aramark Corp. employees, who clean toilets and tidy up planes, say many have received poor wages of between $8 and $9 an hour with few or no benefits and have been disrespected by management.

They say the 24-hour strike is to attack Aramark's bad faith in negotiations for their first union contract and other unfair labor practices. The strike began Wednesday night and is slated to end Thursday night.
Aramark has 260,000 employees in 22 countries.
