Google Adwords Management - Michigan Based Campaigns Prefer Organic

Organic search campaigns save companies money online

For those who don’t want to spend a fortune on pay per click may want to listen up. 2009 has shown us a year of great strain. Many companies have folded up and even left the state of Michigan altogether. Others have shelled out as much as $50k a month to maintain their pay per click accounts. This is not a viable option for many Michigan based companies. To add further complication many Google Adwords accounts have been cancelled for a variety of reasons over the last few weeks! Companies in this predicament find it next to impossible to get reinstated in the popular Google online marketing program. This makes for problems for many online merchants.

2010 promises to be a new year filled with many new opportunities. In this age of online marketing many companies are opting to go organic only. This may take a little longer to establish and usually faces heavy start up costs in the beginning. But the good thing is that its only expensive in the beginning stages. Businesses can lighten up their accounts after they get them established. Then they can maintain their top online rankings with very little maintenance.

“More and more corporations are turning their backs on Google Adwords PPC accounts in Metro Detroit” says Ted Cantu, owner of Customer Connect, based in Farmington Hills, Michigan. “I find that a lot of companies want to go with organic rankings. This is a growing concern for many cost conscious businesses. In Michigan, many of these companies are struggling to stay afloat – organic Google placement allows them to take more chances, structure their campaigns and go for the long haul. These are the guys who are in the game to win it”.

A lot of companies have unfairly lost their rights to run Google Adwords campaigns because they have been unfairly accused of doing unsavory business practices. There are TOS violations to consider and also a lot of these accusations have no truth to substantiate them. Getting reinstated is next to impossible. Once you have been banned, whether you are guilty or not, it is very difficult to get your sites re-established back into Google’s good graces.

“If I have any advice for corporations and companies in 2010 it would be to stay organic” says Cantu, “Create online campaigns that have some life to them and some substance….. You want to build strong structures that do not collapse and can stand up against the higher PR sites on the web. It will take longer to get to the top in some cases… But then you can also do some great things with your campaign to get immediate attention such as writing great press releases and doing a little self promotion with web video – it really is your call”.

Kawasaki ATV Parts dealer, Powers Motor Sports, see’s the power of using Web 2.0 and putting together an organic campaign on the web. This is an important thing to do for many companies who have a large inventory like Kawasaki parts for example and want to open up their product line to a wide online audience. Working organically online can be very cost effective for any company.

“The smart thing to do is to take a fraction of your online marketing budget and build yourself an organic system. In time you will have a powerful infrastructure that will dominate the SERPS on Google naturally and it will be very cost effective.” Says Ted Cantu, an Ex-Dan Kennedy member.
