Hoku Scientific, Inc.'s (NASDAQ: HOKU) wholly owned subsidiary, Hoku Materials, Inc. and Shanghai Alex New Energy Co., Ltd. have announced the amendment of the polysilicon supply agreement in effect between the two companies. Pursuant to the amendment, both companies agreed to delay the first ship of polysilicon by Hoku to Alex from the first quarter to the third quarter of Calendar year 2010. The other terms of the agreement remain unchanged.
