Washington Redskins fire Head Coach Jim Zorn

The Washington Redskins just announced the release of their head coach Jim Zorn.  The Washington Redskins seasons consist of a 4-12, capped by a 23-20 loss to the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.  Unfortunately, this was the team’s worst record in 15 years.

“The status quo is not acceptable.  I felt it was a necessary to not waste a moment of time to begin building this team into a winner.” says vice president and general manager Bruce Allen.  Former coach Jim Zorn did not comment as he was escorted out of the team headquarters this morning by security.  As of right now the Washington Redskins are scheduled to hold a press conference around noon today.
