2010 Paris Open of Poker to have a grand birthday bash

Paris Open of Poker (Grand Prix de Paris Poker Tournament) has become the most sought after tournaments for the poker enthusiasts.

Paris Open of Poker (Grand Prix de Paris Poker Tournament) has become the most sought after tournaments for the poker enthusiasts. The 2010 edition of the tournament will be a crowd puller with a difference.

This year the tournament will be held during January 5 to January 21 in the beautiful setting of historic casino of Aviation Club de France (ACF) at Champs Elysees. The casino has 16 tables. It also organizes live events and matches for entertaining the guests. The club was established by a group of aviators in the year of 1907. The tournaments are held in ACF since 2006. For the first time it will also feature finale of France Poker Tour.

The tournament will also have the qualification match for the EPT Deauville. And, the special tournament celebrating the 15th year of the inception of the tournament will also be a part of it. This special match will be held during January 5 to January 8 and will end with a grand, sumptuous dinner and awarding ceremony for the winners of 2009 tournament.

France Poker Tour Season V final matches will be held during January 9, 2010. The tournament has a freezeout structure with a buy in of €1,000. This is equivalent to almost $12,120. The entry fee for the tournament is €350 or $424. The tournament will be attracting amateurs as well as professional poker players.

To attract more and more players several side events will be organized during the tournaments. For example, there will be matches for the European Poker Tour of Deauville satellites qualifiers with No Limit Hold' em matches. With several satellite matches with €50 Add-On and Rebuy and more players will be able to participate in the finale session of the France Poker Tour. One can play these matches during January 8 to January 15.
