Former boxing great and Iraqi Olympic Boxing Team coach, Maurice “Termite” Watkins, will take the stage January 14th in Houston to promote GOOOH, a plan to KO the political careers of all 435 U.S. House Members. Watkins, at age 16, was the nation’s youngest Golden Gloves champion, with an astounding 128 wins and ten losses, and now looks forward to the release of a film on his career (see Termite’s official website). Watkins recently joined the rapidly growing Get Out Of Our House movement – a plan to replace career politicians in the House of Representatives with citizen representatives.
The former Golden Glove champion will appear with Tim Cox, GOOOH founder, inventor and former Dell computer executive, for a seminar at 6:30 p.m. on January 14th at the Knights of Columbus Hall 2917, 607 E. Whitney Drive, Houston. Cox, author of “Revolution! A New Plan for Selecting Representatives,” will conduct a scaled down version of the GOOOH process for selection of candidates for the House of Representatives. In similar sessions around the country, Cox has demonstrated how to select high-quality candidates free from the influence of lobbyists, big money and control by the two major parties.
GOOOH (pronounced GO) is a non-partisan movement, which empowers its members in each district to choose the capable person who best represents their views. GOOOH candidates pledge to limit themselves to two terms in office, and are accountable to the voter, taking public positions on 100 current political issues. Each congressional district prioritizes its own issues. GOOOH’s only issue is Term Limits. For more information, visit www.GOOOH.com
