Bollywood Marriage of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan Attracts Thousands
Thousands of fans and media gathered on Friday to catch a glimpse of what has been called “the wedding of the century.” Since their announced engagement in January, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have been a focus of attention for not only the Bollywood film industry but the world entertainment industry as well.
Rai, a former Miss World along with Bachchan, son of legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and a leading star himself were married in a private ceremony that incorporated Hindu traditions.
Bachchan, 31, and Rai, 33, were married at the Bachchan family’s home with approximately 100 guests in attendance
