Sturm, Ruger & Co. Inc. (NYSE: RGR) announced Tuesday that the gun maker named executives from hockey equipment maker Bauer and manufacturer Terex to its board, according to Associated Press.
Sturm Ruger directors voted to increase the board to nine members, then appointed Amir P. Rosenthal and Phillip C. Widman. The appointments are effective Monday.

Rosenthal is the chief financial officer of Bauer Hockey Inc. and had held executive jobs including CFO and general counsel at Katy Industries and was treasurer and senior counsel at Timex Corp. and chairman of its Timex Watches subsidiary.
Widman is senior vice president and CFO at Terex Corp. (NYSE: TEX). He is also on the board of Lubrizol Corp. (NYSE: LZ) and was CFO of Philip Services and CFO at ABB Inc.
Shares rose 21 cents, or 2.1 percent, to $10.45 in afternoon trading.
