Las Vegas to Host the 2010 ACO US Nationals Cornhole Festival

ACO Cornhole Festival adds cornhole games of skill to social and competitive cornhole tournaments.

The ACO has packed the US Nationals Cornhole Festival with not only the social and competititive cornhole tournaments, but lots of cornhole challenge events as well.

The ACO US Nationals Cornhole Festival will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Orleans Hotel and Casino on January 28, 29, 30, 2010. Festival begins on Thursday with a Luck of Draw cornhole tournament for all participants. During the tournament days various cornhole games of challenge will take place to add to the fun.

On Thursday the Board Challenge will determine a player with the most points when throwing bags on three different size cornhole boards: the Challenger Board, the Tournament Board, and the Air Mail Box.  The Seven21 Challenge will have two divisions: social and competitive. A player is given 7 bags and the player getting closest to 21 wins.

The Air Mail Challenge is for sharp shooters. There are two divisions: social and competitive. Player to get most bags in the hole, from the eight bags given, wins.  The Consecutive Pitch Challenge is similar to the Air Mail Challenge but for Consecutive Pitch you throw on regulation cornhole boards and you pitch as many in the hole as you can.  There are social and competitive divisions for this challenge as well. The Long Toss is the final challenge. It is an open event with the player that makes a cornhole at the greatest distance the winner.

On Friday January 29 the social and competitive cornhole tournaments continue. With Air Mail, the Long Toss, and Seven21, mixed in throughout the day, the Festival is heaven for cornhole lovers.

On Saturday, January 30 the game of cornhole gets a little more serious with the King of Cornhole Tournament and a sudden Death Luck of Draw Tournament.  Players will get their last shot at a Consecutive Pitch Challenge, Long Toss, and Air Mail. The final challenge will be an Air Mail Tournament open to the eight qualifiers of the previous Air Mail Challenges.
