Navy Blue Angels Pilot Killed in Jet Crash
A Navy Blue Angels pilot was killed when his jet broke formation and crashed into a neighborhood during an air show on Saturday.
According to witnesses at the Marine Corps Air Station in South Carolina the pilot's F/A-18 jet was in formation and then suddenly dropped below tree level and ripped through several pine trees, igniting a ball of fire and sending debris across a small neighborhood.
The county coroner confirmed that the pilot had been killed in the accident.
