Oxygen Education Releases Online Metrology Education Content
New content extends Oxygen’s ready-to-implement library of online learning content for technical education and workforce development.
Oxygen Education, LLC, a market leading developer of online content for technical education and workforce development, today released two content modules for teaching Metrology online. The new content adds to Oxygen’s existing online learning content for Metrology and further extends Oxygen Education’s extensive library of online learning content. The two content modules released today are:
Metrology, Bench Comparators – Focuses on the types, uses, components, accessories, best practice uses, and applications of bench comparators. Upon completion, learners are able to identify components and common uses of bench comparators and various measurement instruments used on bench comparators.
Metrology, Specialty Micrometers – Focuses on the types, uses, components, accessories, best practice uses, and applications of micrometers. Upon completion, learners are able to identify components of standard and specialty micrometers, understand the micrometer calibration and spot check verification processes, identify various specialty micrometers, understand the features specialty micrometers measure, and recognize potential sources of measurement error.
