David Letterman to Appear as Guest on Regis Philbin’s Return on Thursday

Late night talk show host David Letterman will be the first guest Regis Philbin welcomes when he returns to his “Live With Regis and Kelly” show on Thursday. Philbin has been out for six weeks after undergoing triple heart bypass surgery.

It was Philbin who stepped in and hosted for Letterman when the funnyman underwent heart bypass surgery in 2000.
