AT&T Inc. has announced it will begin selling cell phones running the Google “Android” platform. The decision comes in light of the end of At&T’s exclusive contract as host to Apple’s iPhone.
AT&T's arrangement for the iPhone may end as soon as the summer say analysts, leaving AT&T in need for a fall back plan. Their reliance on the iPhone puts them at a huge loss for which their answer is the much lauded Google platform.
