Shooting at St. Louis Workplace Leaves at least 3 Injured, Gunman Still on Loose

A gunman entered a St. Louis power company early Thursday morning and opened fire with an AK47 assault rifle, injuring at least three people.

According to police the man, believed to be a former employee of ABB Power, walked into the workplace around 6:30 a.m. and for reasons unknown began shooting. Police have yet to locate the gunman with some reports suggesting the man is still inside the building.

As the shooting began several ABB Power employees ran to the rooftop of the building and moments later the area was surrounded by police.

Witnesses described the shooter as a white man about 5-foot-8, wearing a tan coat. He was believed to have been recently fired by the company.
