NFL News: Eric Mangini to Return as Coach of Cleveland Browns

Eric Mangini will be returning as coach of the Cleveland Browns next year despite a disappointing 5-11 campaign that left his job in doubt.

Those doubts increased when Cleveland hired Mike Holmgren as team president yet the former Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers head coach opted to keep Mangini as well as his entire coaching staff.

While the Browns won just five games they did string together four wins in a row to close out the year including victories over the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars.
