In the company’s news,
Hipcricket announced their recent promotion of David W. Hostetter from senior vice president of engineering to chief technology officer (CTO). A mobile marketing and advertising veteran for more than twenty years, Hostetter is an innovator whose passion and deep expertise for emerging technologies is evident, as he holds an extensive career portfolio of disruptive and profitable product offerings that have generated an uninterrupted flow of highly valuable, issued patents.
“Since David joined Hipcricket, he has proven to be an innovator in mobile technology and a natural leader,” stated chief operating officer at Hipcricket, Doug Stovall. “He possesses expert knowledge of IP creation and patent securitization, along with a thorough understanding of how data driven technologies can be leveraged to best serve our clients. With 20 years of mobile advertising and marketing executive experience, Hostetter has been at the forefront of big data, digital media and machine scalability at international companies, of which include Microsoft, MOD Systems and Loudeye, which was acquired by Nokia.
