Peoples Flower Shops Participates in Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation’s 30th Annual Daffodil Days

Peoples Flower Shops, an Albuquerque, New Mexico based, family-owned and operated florist, announced that it is serving as the Blossom Sponsor for Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation’s 30^th Annual Daffodil Days to be held March 21 -22, 2014.  The proceeds from the daffodil sales will benefit Presbyterian Home Healthcare, which includes hospice, home care, and palliative care services for those patients and families who are experiencing financial hardships with their bills, medications, funeral expenses and more.

This year’s event offers three different daffodil arrangements, priced from $6 for 10 daffodils to $15 for an arrangement of daffodils to $25 for an arrangement of 20 daffodils. Free delivery to a home or office is available on orders of $100 or more. Orders under $100 can be picked up at one of seven locations.

In commenting on the Albuquerque florist’s participation in Daffodil Days, Wayne Pollack of Peoples Flower Shops said, “Each year, we participate in this important local fundraiser because it helps families in New Mexico who are facing hardships during difficult times, including medical episodes and end-of-life care. Hundreds of patients and their families have benefitted from this special fundraiser over the last 30 years. Purchasing the different available daffodil arrangements is a beautiful way to help others while also enjoying a stunning arrangement to enjoy at home, the office, or to give as a gift.”

The fundraiser is expected to deliver over 1,700 pre-ordered daffodil arrangements and sell over 170,000 flowers at 26 different sites located in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho.
